Hi! I’m Caroline, and I’m a 26-year-old freelance designer/artist in Seattle, Washington.
I’m a graduate of the Savannah College of Art & Design, holding a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interactive Design. It’s a multidisciplinary major, but my focus pertains to web design, a field in which I’m strictly self-taught since 1998. I’ve purged myself of a few or more bad habits since those days, though–I haven’t used a MIDI on a web page in a long, long time.
Art and illustration are the first loves which I’ve kept going to this day. As far back as I can recall, I wanted to be an artist. So far, so good. Still waiting on the purple dog and flying car, but one out of three ain’t bad.
I love my work and am genuinely enthusiastic about it. I can wax poetic about CSS or rant on usability at great length. I live for good bristol and sharp pencils. I focus keenly, work to high standards, and constantly seek to improve. I adore working with people who are passionate about their ideas, whatever they might be.
For anything else, I like to think that I have a sense of humor, at least.
Got a question? Got a good idea? Want to grab some lattes? Let’s talk!
